Kalayla Dunbar-Johnson

Kalayla (Layla) is a passionate and motivated instructor specializing in acrobatic and dance classes that feature a diverse range of cultural and professional styles. With a background rooted in gymnastics and dance, she understands firsthand the challenges of accessing quality training, having been a former lower-income dancer and gymnast herself. Her mission is to make professional, cost-efficient dance and acrobatic training accessible to all, because she believes that a love for dance should never be hindered by financial barriers. 

Layla holds state certifications in cheer and dance instruction, ensuring her technique is safe, compliant, and ready for competitions. Her expertise spans ballet, tap, acrobatics, tumbling, cheerleading, gymnastics, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and pom. She is a dedicated to fostering a safe, fun, and supporitve environment where students can grow, learn, and pursue their goals- whether aiming for competition, collegiate levels, or personal development. Her primary focus is to provide opportunities for passionate performers to progress and realize their dreams!
